With over 17 years of professional experience, Dr. Rao has earned recognition for his expertise in Ayurvedic surgical procedures, especially Kshara Sutra therapy for anorectal disorders.

Dr. Rao’s contributions to Ayurvedic surgery and research have been widely appreciated. His research publication on “Effect of Agnimantha Ksharasutra in the Management of Bhagandara (Fistula in Ano)” was published in the International Ayurvedic Medical Journal in 2015. He is also a registered practitioner with the Karnataka Ayurvedic & Unani Practitioners Board and an active member of the National Integrated Medical Association Surgical Society.

Dr. Patanu Sai Babu is an experienced Ayurvedic Surgeon specializing in Shalya Tantra with expertise in anorectal disorders, wound management, and Ayurvedic surgical procedures. With strong academic training and clinical experience, he is dedicated to providing patient-centered Ayurvedic healthcare while continuously advancing his medical knowledge and surgical skills.
He completed his MS in Shalya Tantra from SDM College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Hassan, affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru. He also holds a BAMS degree from Sri Hingalambika Education Society’s Ayurvedic Medical College, Kalaburagi.
Dr. Sai Babu has participated in multiple national and international conferences, workshops, and advanced life support training programs including NABH accreditation, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and ITLS Advanced Trauma Care.
His research work focuses on the management of Bhagandara (Fistula in Ano) using Agnimantha Ksharasutra, and his research article has been published in the International Ayurvedic Medical Journal.
